SIBEX is a range of special polypropylene grades tailored to feedstock requirements of each segment to ensure high quality of end products. Basic PP grades lack special properties required by a specific segment and can be used across various processing areas.

SIBEX PP H043 FF polypropylene grade (Raffia segment) is a special solution for PP bags. PP H030 GP grade can also be used for the production of PP bags. For technical details, go here.

Polymer granules are packed in polyethylene bags of 25 kg each and delivered on stretch-wrapped pallets. For a number of regions, we can deliver in bags with inliners.

No, granules can only be delivered in 25 kg bags.

SIBUR cannot provide this type of certificate as polypropylene grades are not subject to the conformity assessment procedures established by the TR TS 005/2011 technical regulations pursuant to Clause 1, Article 1 of these regulations.

SIBUR only produces LDPE granules used as a feedstock for manufacturing films and sheets.

SIBUR offers LDPE 15303-003 (PE LD03210 under the new classification) as an alternative to LDPE 15313-003. LDPE 15803-020 (PE LD20190 under the new classification) as an alternative to LDPE 15813-020 and LDPE 10803-020.

Currently, SIBUR does not offer HDPE and LLDPE. Their production is planned for 2020 after ZapSibNeftekhim, which is currently under construction, is put on stream. The plant’s capacity will be 1.5 mtpa of HDPE and LLDPE grades.

According to TU 2245-003-70378591-2015:

• Film retains its physical and mechanical properties over a guaranteed shelf life of six months from the date of manufacturing indicated on the roll label;

• For metallised films, film retains its minimum allowable surface tension level of 36 dynes/cm over a guaranteed shelf life of 15 to 30 days from the date of manufacturing, depending on the film’s brand. The date of manufacturing is indicated on the roll label;

• Film retains its physical and mechanical properties over a guaranteed shelf life of six months from the date of manufacturing indicated on the roll label;

• CPP film has a shelf life of six months from the date of manufacturing indicated on the roll label. 

Upon shelf life expiry, all quality parameters of a film is to be checked for compliance with relevant requirements. If found compliant, it can be used as intended.

In accordance with the expert opinion of Rospotrebnadzor, butyl rubber produced by SIBUR Togliatti: can be used to produce rubber products intended to come in contact with foods; meets the FDA requirements (Title 21, section 177.2600) and European regulations (Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and No 10/2011). Certificates of conformance are provided upon customer request.

We particularly recommend a range of SSBR grades and Nd-BR grades. More information is available in the Rubbers section on the official website of SIBUR Holding.

These rubbers are interchangeable, with their quality parameters nearly identical. They are designed as alternatives to each other. Specific features: to produce rubbers, Voronezhsintezkauchuk uses styrene (styrene-butadiene rubbers), while SIBUR Togliatti uses alpha-methylstyrene (butadiene-alpha-methylstyrene rubbers). We produce linear butadiene-styrene thermoplastic elastomers (SBS L, DST L) and radial styrene-butadiene thermoplastic elastomers (SBS R, DST R) with different molecular characteristics, kinematic viscosity and application scope. These thermoplastic elastomers are produced at two independent facilities of Voronezhsintezkauchuk. They are interchangeable, however, they are not alternatives to each other. Since 2010, rubbers are not subject to compulsory certification under the applicable laws of Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.

TPE in granules is packed in polypropylene big bags of 700–800 kg or 500 kg each. Powder TPE grades are packed in polyethylene bags of 12 kg and delivered in corrugated cardboard containers or on stretch-wrapped pallets. All rubber grades are packed in box pallets: 1.08 t DoodPack metal (return) containers; 1.08 t general purpose (plywood) containers; 0.54 t corrugated cardboard containers. Machine loading with different box pallets: metal containers – 18.36 t; general purpose containers – 19.44 t; corrugated cardboard containers – 19.44 t or 20.52 t.

For single packaging, a range of box pallets is used. The minimum shipment weight depends on the box pallet: 1.08 t for DoodPack metal (return) containers; 1.08 t for general purpose (plywood) containers; 0.54 t for corrugated cardboard containers.

Alphapor EPS products have been assigned hazard class 4. Hazard class 4 cargo does not belong to explosive materials and substances, but can ignite through friction, spontaneous chemical reactions, heating, or from external sources of ignition. Therefore, the driver must be trained in transporting this type of cargo, and the vehicle must comply with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 272 Rules for Transportation of Goods by Car dated 15 April 2011.

The shelf life of unopened expandable polystyrene is: 

• six months if stored below 15°С;

• five months if stored below 25°С.

Upon shelf life expiry, all quality parameters of expandable polystyrene shall be checked for compliance with relevant requirements. If found compliant, it can be used as intended. 
According to TU 2214-019-53505711-2010 EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE (EPS), the manufacturer guarantees that expandable polystyrene is in compliance with the requirements of these technical regulations provided that the customer adheres to the transportation, storage and usage conditions.

TU 2214-019-53505711-2010 EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE (EPS) contains general processing recommendations for Alphapor EPS. This packaging is not available. PET is packed in big bags of 1,050 kg or 1,100 kg each depending on the manufacturing plant.

We normally pack Alphapor EPS in big bags of 840 kg each. However, we can deliver in 25 kg bags if ordered in advance. Please inform your personal manager accordingly.

Prior to purchasing SIBUR’s products, you are required to provide the documents necessary to sign an agreement with us. Your manager will send you the list of documents and will be assisting with preparing the delivery contract.
